Every adventure traveler knows that there’s a chance for danger when they take a trip.

But not everyone knows what they should do if they suddenly find themselves in peril. From tornadoes to earthquakes to kidnappings, almost anything can happen, notes Examiner.com contributor Sandi Bird.

Sandi recently wrote about Mountain Shepherd’s four-day course, Travel Safe Training:

One might think that this course is valuable only to international travelers, however even those people whose travel is limited to their own or surrounding states can be faced with a natural disaster (such as the 2011 tornadoes that caused so much destruction) or a terrorist attack like the one that took out the Twin Towers.

Would you know what to do in a situation like that?
